Project Objective • On-line warehouse management system to fulfill business growth and need • Interface with SAP WM System with on-line update • Implement at Hong Kong at the first site and role out to other warehouses in Asia Pacific at the second phase • Handle warehouse operations on finish product and spare parts

  3. Preliminary Requirements • Implementation covers Hong Kong warehouse only. • Random location on OWMS. • It is an on-line update system using bar-coding. • Interface with SAP. • Packing list and Invoicing to be printed from SAP and not covered by OWMS. • 1 SO link to 1 picking list to 1 packing list to 1 invoice. • Same shell would have multiple product. • It is not require to develop separate function for sales return as it is the same as good reception. • It is not require to develop separate function for supplier return as it is the same as goods shipment. • Special instruction code is required to be included in OWMS. • Not more than 6 standard reports to be generated from OWMS.

  4. Outstanding • OWMS need to suggest the number of outer carton per packing and Olympus will advise the calculation logic. • Olympus is responsible for apply radio frequency. • Estimation does not cover the equipment cost of on-line bar-code system.
