  1. Gifted and Talented “Super Saturday” May 10, 2014 ...a great chance to meet other GT students and parents...come join the fun! The Adams 12 Gifted and Talented Parents Group is hosting a morning of fun on Saturday, May 10! Parents and students are invited to come to meet other GT parents and students, share experiences, participate in activities and join the Adams 12 GT community. Date: Time: Student ages: Lunch: Location: Cost: Saturday, May 10, 2014 8:30 am - noon Kindergarten to 5th grade Bring your own lunches STEM Lab 11700 Irma Drive Northglenn, CO FREE ! ! ! We’ll start at 8:30 am. Parents or guardians are free to stay with their children or mingle with others in the Parent Room. Students will rotate through 2 activities. For students grade K-2, we’ll do a chemistry experiment with gelatinous SLIME. Students grade 3-5 will become engineers to build and test the performance of a new bridge. Plus, all students will learn how to write their first computer program in the computer lab. After the sessions, there will be a live demonstration of… Dancing Robots! We’ll then have lunch to spend time with new and old friends. Attendance will be limited to 120 students in the Adams 12 district from grade K to 5th. All schools are encouraged to participate, but registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
