  3. John 213 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. • 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. • 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. • Phileo – Relationship, Family and Friends, Natural, Deep Affections (feelings and emotions) • Agape – Highest, Perfect, unconditional, sacrifice, service, reason and mind, Choice, die for even an enemy.

  6. #2 “Love is powerful and essential” • 2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: • “The Power of love is the only thing that can cause one to sacrifice all he is to Jesus and commit all he has to his service!”

He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. • Point #3 “He calls us to love him more than these!” • Matthew 1624 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

  10. Question #3 - 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. • Point # 6 “Jesus already knows everything!” • “While it is a terror for the unbeliever; it is a comfort to the true believer!”
