  2. POZIŢIE GEOGRAFICĂ • Portugalia sau Republica Portugheză este o ţară situată în extremitatea sud-vestică a Europei, înPeninsula Iberică, având ieşirela Oc. Atlantic în vest şi în sud, şi graniţă cu Spania în nord şi în est. De asemenea include două grupuri de insule ale Atlanticului: Insulele Azore şi Insulele Madeira.

  3. CADRUL NATURAL • Portugalia continentală este împărţită în două de râul ei principal, Tejo. Alte râuri importante sunt: Douro şi Guadiana.; • În nord, relieful este format din munţii: Sierra da Estrela. • În sud, spre Algarve, relieful este format mai ales din câmpii; • clima de aici este ceva mai călduroasă şi mai uscată decât în nordul răcoros şi ploios;

  6. GEOGRAFIE UMANĂ • Populatia este de 9,8 mil.loc. • Majoritatea populaţiei portugheze este de confesiune romano-catolică. • Oraşele:Lisabona,Porto,Coimbra,Setubal.

  9. ECONOMIA • Economia Portugaliei a devenit o economie diversificată şi în continuă creştere, bazată pe servicii; Este cel mai mare exportator mondial de plută; • Este bine dezvoltat turismul;
