Year long Professional Development Class - 107 Using the iPad in the High School Classroom (9-12) A class will be available for the year long professional development on using the IPad for Instruction

Opportunities to Improve – First 6 Months • iPads break • iPad repairs have been handled through a third party. • As of April 26, we sent 259 iPads out for repair. • Average cost of repair is $165.00. • As of April 26 we have spent $31,956.19 for repairs. • We have 59 iPads on hand to be repaired. • We budgeted about $78,000.00 from collected funds from parents • When dealing with repair, we had to purchase 100 loaner iPads to provide students with a replacement while repairs were taking place. • 100 X $539.00 - $53,900.00 • Overage in Year 1 was $7,856.19 taken from general fund account – repair and maintenance
