Indians 印地安人. 印第安人在 15 世紀 末之前本來並沒有統一的稱法。 1492 年 西班牙 航海家 哥倫布 航行至 美洲 時，誤以為所到之處為 印度 ，因此將此地的土著居民稱作「印度人 」。但是 漢語 翻譯時直接 把他們翻譯 成「印第安人 」。.

Indians印地安人 • 印第安人在15世紀末之前本來並沒有統一的稱法。1492年西班牙航海家哥倫布航行至美洲時，誤以為所到之處為印度，因此將此地的土著居民稱作「印度人」。但是漢語翻譯時直接把他們翻譯成「印第安人」。 • There is no uniform name for Indians before 15th.In 1492.When the Spanish navigator Columbus sailed to America,he thought he has been India.So he called them “Indian ”.But Chinese just called them “Indians ”
