Workshop Objectives DL interoperability Presentation of the first results of the collective work of a large number of researchers who have participated in the DL.org project activities Springboard for further discussions and exchanges of ideas on effective methods for DL interoperability and best practices Quality Working Group Meeting

  4. DL.org Coordination Action on Digital Library Interoperability, Best Practices and Modelling Foundations Quality Working Group Meeting

  5. Project Objectives • Promote interoperability between current and future DL initiatives • by adopting a systematic approach • by mobilizing key people and projects • Identify best practices and technology patterns • by delivering a DL Technology and Methodology Cookbook • Consolidate and enhance the DELOS Reference Model • by producing a stable version of the Reference Model • Disseminate project outcomes • via Web site, Workshops, Summer School Quality Working Group Meeting

Six Thematic Working Groups Content Quality Architecture Functionality Policy User Identify and discuss the most important interoperability issues arising while implementing large-scale Digital Libraries Be informed about solutions applied in other contexts Steering the definition of agreed solutions Contribute to the consolidation/refinement of the Reference Model Quality Working Group Meeting

  8. Liaison Group act as a collaboration channel with many other projects and initiatives validate the results of the Thematic Working Groups act as a consultation body for DL.org Quality Working Group Meeting
