  10. Bellringer You will have a bellringer activity to complete each day. It will usually be on the board. You will have 5 minutes to complete the bellringer. We will go over the bellringer. You do not leave your seat without permission. Raise your hand to answer/ask a question.

  11. Other Procedures After the bellringer, we will begin instruction. There is to be NO TALKING during instruction. Questions?? Raise your hand and wait to be called on.

  12. What if my pencil breaks? Do not get up and sharpen your pencil when I am teaching/talking or without permission. Keep extra pencils with you, bring a pencil sharpener, use pens

  13. What if I need to throw something away? Do not ball up paper to give you an excuse to go to the trash can. Do not get up and throw anything away when I am teaching/talking. Keep it at your desk until the work session has begun and raise your hand and ask permission to throw it away.

  14. What if I have to go to the bathroom? If it is an emergency, fill out your agenda and bring it to me to sign. If you have a medical condition, bring in a doctor's note. Otherwise, emergencies do not occur everyday in every class.

  15. What if I want/need to go to the Media Center? If you have completed your work and I am not teaching, I will allow up to 4 students to go to the library to check out books. Fill out your agenda and bring it to me to sign.

  16. What do I do if I was absent? A good place to start is to look at my website. I often post the day's work on there. If you did not go to my website, then when you return, look in the make-up work folder for your classand find the papers with your name on it. You are responsible for getting the work you missed, completing it, and turning it in.

  17. What do I do when I am done with my work? Never rush through an assignment to finish first, thinking that you can sit and talk--won't happen! Always double-check your work for accuracy work on any unfinished assignments in my class work on assignments from other classes or read AR

  18. MOST IMPORTANT! Our classroom is a community and we will all be respectful of each other. Remember the "Golden Rule"--treat others the way you want to be treated Remember that you are here to learn and I am here to teach. Anyone or anything that gets in the way of that will not be tolerated!
