  4. Serves as an educational consultant to state departments, county agencies, and school districts • Is nationally known for her presentations on instructional procedures and literacy instruction • Wrote textbook entitled Explicit Instruction: Effective and Efficient Instruction

  5. Michael Shoulders

  6. Taught for 14 years before becoming an instructional supervisor until 2005 • Created a weekly column for TheClarksville Leaf-Chronicle which reviews children’s literature (it continues today under his wife’s direction) • Visits nearly 100 schools each year spreading his message that “Reading is Magic” • 2012 IRA speaker
