    2. What is the CPLS Engagement Program? The program recognizes your learning solution expertise, rewards you for your impact in the technology marketplace, and delivers tools and resources to help your business become profitable regardless of its size or focus. CPLS’s who join the program and have profiled themselves in our database will be selected to deliver early launch content to ready our partners prior to or just in time with our product launches in instructor-led trainings. The program leverages the power and reach of our Partner Network to promote local training to leading Microsoft Partners. The key component to the success of this program rests with our CPLS partners. Their expertise is delivering local training to Microsoft Partners that enhances their ability to develop their core competencies and to stay ahead of the curve.

    3. What are the benefits of joining the program? Once you’re qualified and enrolled in the CPLS Engagement Program, you’ll gain access to valuable resources and opportunities that will not only help drive students to your business, but also offers free instructor training, early launch content, and more: Early and free access to launch content. Free Train-the-Trainer events by Microsoft. Compensation for room, hardware, rental and training delivery. Instructor monetary bonus, paid on an adjusted score, not overall evaluation score. Evaluations processed through the Metrics That Matter (MTM) online system. Access to the CPLS Engagement Program Portal. Close relationship with Microsoft content developers and Partner Account Managers. Exposure to the Microsoft Partner Network. CPLS Engagement Program Awards: Recognition to the Learning Solution Partner Community.

    4. What are the benefits of joining the program? In addition, the CPLS benefits include: Improved CPLS course content resulting from a rigorous content standardization process* Re-deliver early course content for classes you have been selected to deliver on behalf of Microsoft up to five times after all deliveries of the course have been completed and prior to the availability of Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC).** Opportunity to market your business offerings to partners attending the training events.*** * Only applies to Microsoft platform products. ** Re-delivery only applies to Microsoft platform products. As specified in the Statement of Work, Microsoft Dynamics products, and some third party intellectual property products are NOT eligible. ** * Partner attendees must voluntarily sign up to receive marketing information from a CPLS. See our Privacy Statement.

    5. Who can apply to join the program? The CPLS Engagement Program is open to all CPLS located within United States. We profile your company and MCTs. The Microsoft CPLS program manager will select the CPLS based on the following factors: The CPLS maintains an active Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions Competency status during the period in which all events are conducted by the CPLS. Academic learning providers are excluded from this program. The CPLS applying must have a valid CPLS location within United States. Partner satisfaction and MTM (Metrics that Matter) evaluation scores from previous years are over 8.1 from scale 1-9 (and 7.8+ for Dynamics). Competency and product expertise level of MCTs on staff, virtual capability. The CPLS must have a Hardware Level of at minimum 4+ as identified within the CPLS Program Agreement. Requirements may be higher depending on training offering.

    6. What is the enrollment process? The CPLS Engagement Program always runs for one fiscal year and all CPLS’s need to re-enroll on a yearly basis. For FY11, the enrollment period for all CPLSs interested in joining the program will be May 17th to June 18th, 2010. During the enrollment period, qualified CPLS’s can enroll online via the CPLS Portal: http://www.cplsportal.com New CPLS’s who have not participated in the program yet will be accepted on probation period. They will receive assignments, and must attain over 8.1 in instructor and event management scores (from scale 1-9) for their first 3 events, to be fully approved into the program. CPLS’s can also join the program after the enrollment period but we prefer that the majority enrolls in the May-June timeframe so that we know who our pool of training partners will be for the fiscal year.

    7. What are the selecting criteria for deliveries? After becoming a member of the CPLS Engagement Program, CPLSs are selected to deliver the training from a pool of other CPLSs based on: Availability within specific timeframe. Facility location within city parameters. Classroom size, virtual capability and hardware level requirements. Product training experience. Overall MTM satisfaction score, former event experience and instructor score being above 8.1 for a majority of courses. Being Prometric certified or in process of becoming in near future. Particular MCT experience, competency and specialization. In addition, we consider the CPLS responsiveness, flexibility and commitment presented in past deliveries.
