  2. Genre Alternative" refers to the genre's distinction from mainstream or commercial rock or pop music. Example: Billie Eilish's music is classified within alternative pop, indie pop and electropop genres.

Billie Ellish – Bad Guy • Independant women artist who is 20 years old • it was Bad Guy which propelled her to number one for the first time on the US Billboard Hot 100. • Her unique style, music lyrics, music videos draws millions attention to her and to love her music. • Genre: alternative/indie • Her music videos contain ‘weird’ and silly orginal ideas, makes her video stand out , which is why she inspires us and we like her use of ideas

  5. Olivia Rodergo - dej vu • Olivia within the last few years has blown up in the music world. She is a young indepandent women who writes relatable and heart felt songs, mainly about breakups. • As well as her song writing carrer, she has previously been involved in film and tv productions such as High school musical and Bizaardvark. • She is just 19 years old and has a follow of over 25 million.

Lana del ray • Her original name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, and she is an American singer and songwriter • Her music genre is indie rock • She is 37 years old and has a net worth of around 30 million dollars • Realsed around 38 singles • Summertime sadness was her mosyt popular song which waarelased in 2012

  7. Remi Wolf -sexy villain • She is an American singer and songwriter from California • Similar to Billie she has a unique personailties. Her music videos as a viewer is enjoyable to watch, and fun. • She has funky fashion sense that draws your attention as a viewer. • Music genre: pop

Comparing symbolic conventions – similarties • All music videos contain aspect of the color red, weather that’s props, makeup or clothing they all contained red. • The color red connotes love and an aspect of psychotic and powerful. • As all music videos includes women, it shows women power and femimnity and sexiness.

  9. Comparing sybolic conventions - differences (camera work) • In Lana del ray music video she has a uquniue sift towards the end. It changes to a wolf and vampire vibe that made it stand out to the other music videos. • It is shown through montage clip edits, close up shots, mid shots and fast short cut clips.

  10. Comparing technical conventions – similarties(camera work) All music video include close up shots of the main artists. Its shows their feminity, makeup and facial expression linking to their song and meaning All artists have minimal makeup but also elegant and all are different to one another.

  11. Comparing digipaks similarties: The Bad Guy and Chemtrails Over The Country Clubalbulmcpvers are very similar in their design. Both are black and white and have a simplistic front cover featuring themselves and the asesthic that both music vidoes gives off. Both similaory have the same font and small print

Its playful and unique and expresses her personality. • Simialry, Chemtrails Over The Country Club has the same vibe of editing. As if its film on an old fashioned camera. There is lens flares, fast movement, bright exposure of colours and lighting

Our social media account • For our Instagram account that we will be making, we want it to be aesthic and match our music video vibe. • Contiune the red theme, show her lifestyle, behind the scences, tour dates etc. • Nessa Barret is an example of someone who makes her Instagram look very good and aesethic. Its well organized and it all matches in its color schema
