Consequently, several terms have emerged which were not heard of a few years back. Online streaming and IPTV are some of them. Of course, these terms can also be perceived as a strong force leading to a paradigm shift from traditional modes of broadcasting such as satellite TV or cable TV to the internet based streaming. And yes, IPTV has a crucial role to play in this phase of transformation. Nowadays, customers don’t pay any heed to owning the content as much as they are concerned about accessing the content. Here exists the role of IPTV. Let’s get into the details of IPTV and how it is changing the future of TV. What exactly is IPTV? IP of the term is exactly what people use in the context of computers: Internet Protocol. IPTV or Internet-based Protocol Television is used to deliver content live or on-demand. IPTV streaming solutionsare based on broadband or internet connection to deliver services. Subscribers get the advantage and convenience of being able to pick their favorite program whenever and wherever they feel like. However, they have to be time punctual for any program that is being aired live. Tuning into any Live TV shows allows access to currently aired content. That being said, they can also watch the recording of the program later on.
