MINNCOR Facts Prison industries have existed in Minnesota for over 100 years On any given day, MINNCOR employs approximately 1,200 offenders and 125 staff Since 2003, MINNCOR has been a self-sufficient enterprise, receiving no state subsidies, taxpayer dollars or grants Twine factory, early 1900s

A re-entry program designed to encourage offenders to gain and maintain long-term employment once released from confinement 3 Steps to Success: Pre-release Job Search Training Sessions Resume Completion Job Leads, Job Search Portfolio & Job Coaching Current Statistics: Total Number of Offender Participants Incarcerated: 339 Total Number of Offender Participants Released: 114 Percent of Released Participants Employed: 69% (January 2010) EMPLOY About the Program
