  12. When do you start to worry about a child's behavior? How long and what do you look for too see if there are emotional issues? How do you approach a parent with a concern related to a new observation of potential at risk behavior or special need? When you do suspect there is a problem with a child such as behavior what is the best way to approach the parent without them feeling like they may be the problem? How do you deal with parents who are in denial of your observations? What tips do you have when talking to parents about children who have a concern with development or behavior? How do you find a good common ground to relate to and communicate with all parents and children? Is there a good way to introduce yourself to a new parent who may not be culturally from this area?
