Not just that, the Incident Management System is yet another project that is expected to streamline the traffic congestion and keep it in check for a smoother commute experience of highway users. Mr Akhilesh Srivastava, who is the head of Highway Operations in India, has been working hard to tailor the best and latest technology in the ongoing highway projects to ensure real- time monitoring for a streamlined outcome. He is a man of belief and conviction, ensuring to enable transparency in the entire workflow of highway operations. He is working on several of the tech-enabled projects that are expected to make the overall highway infrastructure a lot better. The introduction of drones and various other geospatial technologies is yet another aspect that Mr Srivastava is working on. According to him, the integration of these can augment the real-time monitoring process of the ongoing highway projects. Owing to the bright future of these projects, he has been encouraging the youth of India to take training on these through which the employment opportunities in these specific sectors can be improved. Mr Akhilesh Srivastava has been cordially invited to the popular 4th Annual Roads and Highways Summit by the International Roads Federation of Geneva.
