  1. Why Regular Cleaning of Your Boat is better than seasonal cleaning option? In order to keep the boat engine in a better working condition, it is always a good practice for you to perform all sorts of activities in terms of better optimised servicing. With regular services of the engine, you will be able to prevent any unforeseen failures or events. Also, during the navigation you may end up putting your life or someone else’ life in danger without proper servicing of your engine. The engine servicing generally contains two categories- occasional cleaning work and seasonal cleaning work. Where, the seasonal cleaning work need to be performed at the beginning of any season for at least one time in complete year or after 100-200 engine-hours on an average basis. To ensure the proper working of the engine functions & also to avoid any kind of unpleasant surprises, this is the minimum benchmark that you need to take. On the other hand, occasional work can be performed easily as per your needs and comfort without any fixed schedule with a pneumatic cleaner. Here is what you can do to perform both seasonal as well as occasional cleaning work of your boat engine, in a categorized manner: https://ajetengrg.com/

  3. 1.Cooling circuit washing •After putting the boat out from the water, remove the salt from the cooling-circuit, by first switching on the engine, rinsing it with hose at a medium- pressure for around 10-15 minutes, disconnect your hose, operate your engine 2 to 3 times in order to free the pipe and at last switch off your engine. •For the inboard/outboard & S-drive, special flusher should be attached to dedicated holes for drawing the water. Sometimes few gearboxes have main hole and grids, so you need to close this main hole with cork. •If you are not able to perform the procedure outside the boat then removing the water filter/ pipe which is connected to the hose. While you are operating the hose, you should be aware about to not to flood the engine. In case engine your engine is not working, simply turn off the hose. •To optimize drying, unscrew the muffler, then drain the discharge pipe. •In cold climates, in order to avoid drainage, it is recommended to make the engine draw a mixture of coolant and water (50% each). Then, it is also important to check sleeves and hose clamps. Grease if necessary. •As for the engine gearbox, every now and then pour from inside the boat towards the outside a solution of water and vinegar to descale the pipes and reduce https://ajetengrg.com/

  4. shellfishes. If they do not dissolve, eliminate piece by piece using a small screwdriver or thin, pointed small brushes. 2.Replacing the impeller Draining out the excess water from circuit & cleaning the filter are the kind of operations that should be performed regularly to avoid any unpleasant surprises for the next season. A smear of grease can protect any new impeller & provide installation. The impeller can be changed only when needed not during the end of any season as the boat will be remain unused for the longer period. 3.Changing coolant & cleaning exchanger Coolant (contains 50% pure water & 50% coolant) needs to change in every 2-4 years as per the expiry date. You can replace it with draining out the remaining coolant with coolant pump and then again fill it with the water- coolant mixture. It is the case where you can also clean it using the equipment, just by removing the exchanger lid & extracting tube bundle. You can clean the coolant nozzle using small brushes, vinegar or oxalic acid. Summary Performing all these basic services in a safe and secured manner is het motive of maintaining your boat engine in an easiest manner and getting ready for all the seasons without any problem. https://ajetengrg.com/
