Remember To Bring Your Homework • Receiving a failing mark is often associated with forgetting the homework at home • Establish a homework routine • Set specific times or a specific schedule for completing homework • Place homework in a specific spot or into your knapsack immediately after completing it

Class Notes and Organization • Ensure that when writing class notes, you write down the proper date and title • Copy class notes in appropriate notebook to help with organization and to decrease frustration • Leave space in notes • Review notes after class • Use a 3-inch binder • Use dividers • Have a notebook for each class

READ! • Play close attention to words in the directions such as: EXPLAIN, INTERPRET and COMPARE • Make sure you understand what the question is asking • Plan how you will answer • Answer using specific details • Check off each part as you do it • Don’t leave any questions unanswered • Don’t guess blindly, but if you don’t have the time, then GUESS!

  23. For Multiple Choice Questions • Read ALL of the choices • Eliminate any choices and that you know are not the correct answer • Once you have picked an answer, make sure that it makes sense • When you have completed the test, go back and check it over
