  2. There are many festivals in India and often dances are performed during the festival.. Sample Slide Chhau is a mask dance that is performed in certain areas of West Bengal. It tells the story of the Ramayana, a very old and very long story from India. You might have heard one of the stories from the Ramayana about Rama and Sita.
