Gold rush-Sutter’s mills • Gold was discover by accident t by a man who was examine the mill. • When the gold rush was founded the owner of the mill name john Sutter.he also discover the first gold • John Sutter didn’t want anyone to know there was gold on the mill because he feared take over. • More than 80,000 people came to u.s in hoping to get rich and lived a better life.

Trail of tears-Tahlequah • Where America forced Cherokee,Creek,Seminole and Choctaw nations move out of there native lands to what is Oklahoma now. • The Tahlequah was the native government fort the Cherokee was located. • The way there was called the trail of tears.this allowed the U.S to make more land for themselves.

San Jacinto River • This battle was part of the manifest destiny because this was when Santa Anna sighed the treaty that give Texas to the U.s nine years later. • He gave the treaty in return for his life. • Many of Americans and Texans die for it and 9 years later they finally succeed completely.

  8. Mexican war-The Rio Grande river • This was were the Mexican soldiers crossed the river to attack the American soldiers • This suddenly sparked the Mexican war • We gained the Mexican cession that expand our land

  10. Mexican War-Mexico city • This is where the leader of México signed the treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo giving up California and new México to the United States • Many land were called the Mexican session.
