Both in belief (faith) and baptism (its meaning) • Acts 8:37-39, the eunuch confessed he believed in Jesus Christ • Romans 10:9-10, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

NOT the sinner’s prayer (??)1 Peter 3:21

  21. God’s plan of salvation • Becoming a Christian is only the beginning • Revelation 2:10, be faithful until (unto) death • Romans 6:3-4, you are a changed person. No longer living in your former conduct • The Lord’s church is a part of your new life!

  22. One way we can identify the Lord’s church is by what it teaches concerning how one is saved and how we become a part of that church • When we are saved, we are ADDED to the church (Acts 2:47) • We then should seek to JOIN a local congregation (church) – Acts 9:26-27
