CCE Project Objectives • Establish a Consistent, Common and Compatible Information Technology Infrastructure Solution • Support the Service Center Physical and Organizational Makeup • Advance the Business of the Service Center Agencies and their Partners • Meet Current Needs and have the Flexibility to Adapt to Future Needs

CCE Project Accomplishments • Purchased and Deployed 46,221 Workstations • Purchased and Deployed over 10,000 Printers • Acquired Enterprise License for Microsoft Operating System and Office Products • Acquired Enterprise License and Support for ESRI ArcGIS Software • Purchased 2992 Network Servers with Exchange email and Enterprise Management Software • Acquired Enterprise Licenses for Server Software • Acquisition of Digital Cameras and GPS Units

Recent Project Activities • All 2992 Compaq Network Servers Delivered and Installed by Government Staff and Contractor • Over 10,000 Workstations Delivered and Installed • Implementing Firewall Protection for Service Center Network at Access Points • Promoted 2700 (99 %) Servers and Migrated over 27,000 (70 %) Workstations to Active Directory • Designing Email and Enterprise Management Solutions (Exchange, SMS, & MOM) • Piloting Migration to Windows XP for Workstations • Training for State IT Staffs Underway

Ongoing Support Activities • Software Certification • Testing, Approval, and Distribution • National Help Desk • Regional Response to Requests for Assistance • Warranty Support for Hardware and Software • Regular Teleconferences with State IT Staff • Collection and Consolidation of Agency Needs for Equipment, Software, and Services • Architecture Planning for Future

Planned Activities • Implement Common Email System • Deliver Training to IT Staffs and Users • Design and Implement Windows and Office XP Migration for all Workstations • Complete Large Office Design and Implementation • Provide Application Services for Service Centers and Acquire Hardware and Software • Implement Telecommunications Upgrades • Upgrade Workstations Purchased in FY 1998 • Acquire Mobile Data Collection Devices and Additional Peripherals to Improve Efficiency
