From April 15-26, guests booking a 2-night stay can get an additional two weekdays free of charge. Guests can chose from over 280 cabins located within minutes of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. April 22nd is also Earth Day, which is marked by a full week of festivities and events such as the Earth Day 5k footrace. Families will love the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The largest event of its type in the U.S., the pilgrimage draws over 1,000 visitors each year for guided wildflower walks, lectures and a photography contest. And enjoying nature doesn't mean you have to rough it. Cabins of the Smoky Mountains features luxury log cabins complete with gourmet kitchens, plush beds and first class amenities. "Our target demographic is definitely families with children," says Parris. "Maybe dad wants to take the kids hiking, but mom doesn't want to sleep in a tent. We let the whole family have a good time, while giving them that outdoor feeling with a porch and a rocking chair." And with the company's April special, families can save on their stay. Guests booking two-nights from April 15 to April 26 can add two bonus weekday nights to their stay free of charge. Free nights represent the least expensive night of they stay, and other restrictions may apply.
