  4. Our Mission • The CDC encourages campus conversations about diversity and inclusion, and fosters a support network for Washington University professionals whop work on diversity issues.

  6. Our Vision • Washington University community members are culturally competent and contribute to an inclusive campus environment.

  7. Current Initiatives • Educational Awareness • Diversity Training and Facilitation for Campus Community • Service to students and the greater WUSTL community

  8. Training and Facilitation • Facilitate professional development around diversity • Conduct training for campus audiences • Provide a diversity training manual

  9. Student Support Services to Students • Support student efforts, dialogues, and programs • Liaise with groups focused on diversity, inclusion and social justice, e.g. Connect 4, Diversity Affairs Council, and the Social Justice Center

  10. Educational Programs Community Awareness Host forums & dialogue on issues of diversity and inclusion • “Inclusive Recruitment” • “Bullying and the LGBT Community”
