  5. The RULES • Most adjectives are made comparative by adding ‘er’. old older 2. If the adjective ends in ‘e’, just add ‘r’. nice nicer

  6. Remember the RULES 3. For longer words, add ‘more’ or ‘less’ in front. delicious more delicious 4. Shorts words ending in a consonant often means you have to double the consonant. big bigger hot hotter

  7. LAST RULE… There are some irregular comparatives: good better bad worse far further
