  3. Aquaintance • Someone you see occasionally or know casually • Some of your acquaintances may become your close friends

  4. Benefits of having friends: Teaches you to: • Communicate • Work out problems • Compromise (both sides agree to give up something) • Give others support • Consider other’s feelings • Let you share your life (good and bad)
