  10. I like 24 hour places Keep it 24/3!! Request: 24hrs 5 nights/wk 24hrs is GREAT!! 24/3 Me like library 24/5 Mahalo, it's great to be here! 24hrs on MTW helps me study better Thank you! Enjoying 24/3 Days!! We need a 24hr study area, PLEASE!! Please provide coffee Keep it open! Open 24hrs 5 days a week! This is my only place to study

  11. Plan A: Extended Hours Because . . . • Supported by quantifiable data • 6:30am opening aligns with UH commuter population patterns • Can be accomplished with 1 half-time Civil Service position

  12. Plan B: 24/5 Because . . . • Affective data very positive • Quantifiable data indicates growing use • Remaining open is more cost-effective than closing/opening • Takes Library Hours issue off the table

  13. Other Factors: • 4000 users per day vs. 4000 in 9 weeks • Campus Security sees no problem with expansion that can’t be handled • Custodial costs pending; no major problems during 24/3 • No security incidents reported during 24/3
