Main Activities • Local maintenance of actual tools andno substantial changes occured on the operational scheme of ALADIN/Portugal • Human resources mostly dedicated to validation and verification of NWP tools • Start of dissemination of ALADIN/Portugal products as support for operational modelling activities In particular, • Diagnostic tools, in particular some improvements on the stability indexes & objective validation of those tools have been attempted • Changes on the verification tools for intercomparision of model outputs • Verification/validation of CANARI (AL12_bf02) 25th EWGLAM & 10th SRNWP meetings Lisbon, 6-9 October 2003 Portugal Instituto de Meteorologia
