  2. My summer holidays I spent my summer holidays in the REPUBLIC of KARELIA, on the banks of the river SHUYA.

  3. Some useful info. about KARELIA It is the splendid country of lakes and forests, located in the North-West of Russia. The Republic lies between the Baltic Sea on the one hand, the White and the Barents Seas - on the other. The greatest length from north to south - 672 km from west to east (at the latitude of Kemi) - 324 km. The area of the republic is 172.4 thousand square meters. km.

  4. The Climate The warmest month in Karelia - July with an average temperature in the north - about +14 °, and to the south +16 °. The coldest - February with an average temperature of about -14 in the north.

  9. Visiting Konyukhov! This year we managed to visit and to be fans at the famous sports festival, which was held in Karelia by the the famous traveler Fyodor Konyukhov.
