Overview • Limited-time additional discount from GM offered “privately” to credit union members • Opportunity to use the private offer and existing GM credit union discount as part of a year-end marketing campaign to drive auto loan growth • Incorporates credit union feedback and lessons learned from prior programs to strengthen and improve the offer

Private Offer Private offer timing: 11/2/10 – 1/3/11 Available to targeted membership of specific credit unions Private Offer incentive in excess of $750 Offer is in addition to GM CU Member Discount Stackable with other GM public incentives Eligible 2010/2011 MY vehicles: Flexibility to focus on a given vehicle(s) depending on market and members targeted

Benefits • Credit Union • Auto loan growth and member loyalty • Auto loan campaign materials • Value-add to auto loan program via the private offer and standard GM credit union discounts • Member • Low credit union auto loan rate • Discounts, because of credit union membership, on new GM cars and trucks

  5. Implementation • Identify a group of members that are most likely to be in-market for a new car. Example targeting: • New auto loans 60-90 days from maturing • Used auto loans 60-90 days from maturing and those already matured within the last 24 months • Members in equity positions on homes and/or autos • Focus on non-GM owners / conquests • Private offer discounts codes will be provided based on the size of the targeted group of members • Send a unique code to each member within the target group • Direct mail/email to be in-home first week of November • Two e-mail follow-ups late November and mid December

Member Redemption • Pre-approved loan from credit union (best effort possible) • To take full advantage of the offer, credit union members will need to provide dealership personnel with two codes: • The standard GM credit union member discount authorization code which members will need to secure from lovemycreditunion.org and write-in on their direct mail/email piece • The unique private offer program code which will be pre-printed on the direct mail/email piece
