Rule 1: Remember The Human ~ Remember there's always someone behind the screen. ~ Never give out your personal information! ~ Don’t use offensive language or say anything mean. ~ Remember to be safe! ~ Treat others the way you want to be treated. ~ Say what you would say to someone in front of them.

  3. Rule 2:Behave the same way that you would behave in real life. ~ Don’t believe any one in the digital world unless you know them. ~If you share information you have to face the consequences. ~ Follow the laws of cyberspace.

  4. Rule 3: Know were you are in cyber space ~ Before you purchase something online make sure there is a s after http so you know that its safe. ~ Lurk before you leap ~ Its important to know where you are. ~ Netiquette varies from domain to domain.

  5. Rule4: Respect other people’s time and bandwidth ~ Always remember you are not the center of cyber space. ~ Always remember who you are sending a message to. ~ Respect people’s time and use it wisely. ~ Bandwidth is also referred to as the storage capacity of a host system.

  6. Rule 5: Make yourself look good online ~ Don’t post bad pictures of yourself online. ~ Always remember your digital footprint. ~ Know what you are talking about online. ~ Don’t swear online, it could end up giving you a bad reputation.

  7. Rule 6: Share expert knowledge ~ Sharing knowledge gives people a chance to understand the digital world. ~ Tell people to be safe in the digital world. ~ Give some positive evidence. ~ When you share your knowledge there are some benefits to doing. ~ Making the digital world a better place. ~ Stop cyber bullying.

  8. Rule 7: Keep flame wars under control ~ Flaming is what people do to express their feelings. ~ It’s a kind of message that makes fights and tears down friend ships. ~ The flame wars are a bad way of expressing your feelings. ~ Flame Wars are an unfair way of telling people things.

  9. Rule 8: Respect peoples privacy ~ Don’t hurt peoples feelings. ~ Failing to respect peoples privacy is bad it could cost you your job. ~ Don’t get into peoples privacy and keep the digital world separate from the real world. ~ Don’t give people your information.

  10. Rule 9: Don’t abuse your power ~ Done trust any one in the digital world. ~ Never read a private email it could ruin your life. ~ Don’t let people take advantage of your Power. ~ If someone has more power does not mean they are in charge of you.

  11. Rule 10: Be forgiving of others mistakes ~ If some one makes a mistake don’t always be mad at them they could be a newbie. ~ Remember no one is perfect in the digital world. ~ If somebody makes a mistake politely correct them. ~ People don't do bad things on purpose just be nice and forgive them.

  12. We all learned that being safe in cyber safety is important. Also, remember that you are not the only one on the computer. Their will always be someone in the digital world. Therefore remember the human, behave, know were you are, respect other peoples time and bandwidth, make yourself look good online, share expert knowledge, keep flame wars under control, respect peoples privacy, don’t abuse your power, and be forgiving!
