  1. 成功大學的任務宣示(Mission Statement) 成功大學秉承全台首府的傳統，以國際性的全方位大學為目標，培育有人文與專業素養、創意與國際觀及關懷社會的領袖人才，並發展跨越領域的研究特色，回饋社會及造福人類。

  2. NCKU Mission Statement National Cheng Kung University, based on the cultural heritage of Taiwan, aims to develop into a world-class comprehensive university. The university will educate future leaders with humanistic and professional grounding, creativity, global vision and social consciousness. It will promote interdisciplinary research which can benefit our society and mankind.

  3. 物理系設立宗旨 秉承成功大學之任務宣示，本系之教育及發展目標是培育有人文與專業素養、創意與國際觀及關懷社會之物理專業人材，培養學生清晰邏輯思考能力。鼓勵學生結合半導體、光電、生醫科技、作跨領域學習。並為成大理工學生奠定良好物理基礎教育。
