  4. Concentration easily calculated from absorbance measurement Absorbance Sample Concentration All based on the linear relationship between absorbance (what the Spec2go™ physically measures) and concentration (what you want to know).

  5. At high concentrations, this linearity breaks down Absorbance Sample Concentration • Caused by: • strong electrostatic interactions between molecules • changes in refractive index • shifts in chemical equilibrium • Higher concentrations require a shorter pathlength for measurement
