  5. Working Group Membership Representation • Working Group membership will be a maximum of 11 members. The group will be selected on three factors to achieve a balanced representation. • Church Group Role exhibited on left side • Language Representation • English • Russian, Slavonic, and English • Russian/Georgian • Work Group skills • commitment to being at the meetings • able to work in a virtual meeting environment • basic ability to work with computer applications, mainly word, excel, and power point • able to think long term, out of the box • able to see opposite perspectives • able to grasp the big picture • able to offer ideas and ask questions Church Group Role

Detail Process for Working Group The work will consist of three parts - • Part One participates for the first four weeks on the topics - mission, liturgy, external focus on DC, OCA • Part Two participates for the last four weeks on the topics of – support groups, organization, administration, revenue • A final meeting will bring all participates together for determining priorities and updating vision and mission Roles - • Core Members Participates in Parts One and Two: Will focus on strategic issues • Part One Members: Will present ideas on Cathedral Liturgy, Choir Missions and the external environment • Part Two Members: Will present ideas on church support groups, organization of the church, revenue, stewardship, and management • Review Members: Will analyze the planning document from independent and clergy perspectives • Moderators: prepare, organize and run each of the required sessions as well as responsible for documenting a final report.

Planned Schedule Beginning Week of Oct 20, 2013 Part One • Week 1 Topic: Overview and the Church Liturgy • Week 2 Topic: Liturgy continued and Choir • Week 3 Topic: Missions - Internal • Week 4 Topic: Missions - External Part Two • Week 5 Topic: Overview and Sunday School/Youth Activities • Week 6 Topic: Resources, Revenue, and Stewardship • Week 7 Organization and Management of Parish Operations • Week 8 Topic: Organization and Management Continued Independent and Clergy Revue planned in January Note: The role of the Cathedral Clergy and the Governance/By-Laws will not be part of the direct discussions. The Clergy are under the jurisdiction of the Bishop and Cathedral Rector. The topic of governance/by-laws has already been updated and agreed upon.
