  5. End of KS2 SATs • Year 6 SATs have been scheduled by the government to take place: Monday 13th – Thursday 16th May 2019. • Please note that these tests are statutory and no holidays will be authorised for this week. • We will hold a SATs meeting in Feb or March for further information.

Be at school on time every day - come to Key Skills at 8:45 How can you help? • Read every night • Help children to complete any homework • Simply be interested in your child’s learning (as you are now, because that’s why you are here!) • Encourage early bed times Positive thinking,positive talking Praise them for making an effort. If you are worried see any teacher any time – we are here to help.

  11. In Year 6 homework will be given on a Friday. It is to be handed in by Wednesday.   12. The pupils will change their home reading book once a week. Reading at home It is important that they read a range of books. They should therefore be encouraged to read additional books to their school home reading book. A library of book is available on the pupils’ active learn accounts. Our school library has a huge range of books that the pupils can borrow.
