  3. Background • 유아기의 구강건강은 학령기 구강보건의 기초가 되며 • 유치우식증은 영구치우식증의 발생에 영향을 미침 • 이 시기의 아동들은 유아기를 거치면서 신체적으로는 점차 안정적인 신체조건을 갖추게 되며 출생 이후 가파른 발육곡선을 보이다가 점차 안정적인 경향을 보이게되는 시기임 • 본 연구는 유아시기 우식경험유치율(dft rate)이 BMI(체질량지수)와 관련성이 있는지 알아보기 위하여 시도되었음 Hanseo_SungSuk Bae

Material & Method • 2009년 1월 8일부터 6월 11일까지 충남 아산과 서산지역의 어린이집 4곳과 유치원 3곳 그리고 어학원 1곳을 대상으로 취학 전 어린이의 우식경험유치율(dft rate)과 BMI(체질량지수) 현황을 조사함 • 조사대상 총 741명 중 체계적이지 않은 101명을 제외한 640명을 연구대상으로 함 • 연구방법은 1차 설문조사와 2차 구강검진, 3차 신체계측(키·몸무게)의 순으로 이루어짐 • 자료분석은 SPSS통계 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계 및 Pearson Chi-Square 검증을 통한 상관분석을 실시함 Hanseo_SungSuk Bae

  8. Conclusion • 우식경험유치율(dft rate)은 BMI(체질량지수)간의 관계는(r = .077, p < 0.01) 설명가능한 상관성을 가지고 있지 않았음 • 우식경험유치율(dft rate)은 아동의 키와 몸무게와는 직접적인 관련성이 없음을 알 수 있으며 이는 BMI(체질량지수)외 구강위생습관, 식이습관, 간식섭취실태, 숙주의 저항력 등 다중요인에 의해 영향을 받고 있음을 알 수 있음 Hanseo_SungSuk Bae
