  4. 1. 基本结构 It is (was)+ 被强调部分+ that (who) + 句子其他部分 Tip: 如果去 掉结构词，句 子不缺成分，则为强调 句。 主语、宾语、状语 现在/将来时: is 过去时：was 人：that/who 被强调部分 + 句子其他部分

It is (was)+ 被强调部分+ that (who) + 句子其他部分It is (was)+ 被强调部分+ that (who) + 句子其他部分 Tom met your sister in the park yesterday. 主语 It was Tom who (that) met your sister in the park yesterday. 宾语 It was your sister who (that) Tom met in the park yesterday. 时间状语 It was yesterday that Tom met your sister in the park. Yesterday Tom met your sister in the park.

  6. 2. 一般疑问句形式 Is (Was) it + 被强调部分+that（who）+句子其他部分 It was in the park that Tom met your sister yesterday. Was it in the park that Tom met your sister yesterday ？ Is(Was) it  Is(Was) it  被强调部分 被强调部分 +that +that （ （ who who ） ） + + 句子其他部分 句子其他部分

  7. 3. 特殊疑问句形式 疑问词+ is (was) it +that+句子其他部分 It was in the park that Tom met your sister yesterday. Where was it that Tom met your sister yesterday？ It was yesterday that Tom met your sister in the park. When was it that Tom met your sister?

  8. 4. not…until…引导的句子的强调句 It is (was) not until +被强调部分+that+句子其他部分 The children didn’t go to bed until their mother came home. It was not until their mother came home that the children went to bed.

  9. 5. because 句型的强调句 It is (was) because +被强调部分+that+句子其他部分 She didn’t come because she was ill. It was because she was ill that she didn’t come.

  10. 6. 强调句+定语从句 It was the training which he had as a young man that made him such a good engineer. 是他年轻时接受的培训使他成为如此优秀的工程师。 It was the boy _____ had been in prison _____ stole the money.  A. who, where              B. that, how  C. who, that                  D. that, which The training which he had as a young man made him such a good engineer.

  11. 7. 强调句的省略 ---Where did you get to know her? ---It was on the farm _______ we worked. A. that B. there C. which D. where • that • D. where 是在我们工作的农场上。 我们是在农场上工作的。答非所问 Tip: 把英语翻译 为汉语，判断所 选项是否符合逻 辑。 It was on the farm where we workedthat we got to know her.

  12. 强调句做题技巧： • 以It is 开头的单选题，选项里有that, 考虑此题是否考强调句。 • 判断句子是否为强调句，把结构词去掉看句子是否成立。 • 重视汉语翻译，避免答非所问。
