National Disability Agreement Non financial reporting – eg. ACDC; Annual Report Communication and information Access and inclusion - eg. DAIPs Research and evaluation

Major focus areas • Nationally • Productivity Commission report (NDIS) • National Disability Strategy implementation • National Disability Agreement • Housing for people with disability • Employment for people with disability • Disability Professional Services • Legislation – eg. Disability Services Act; Criminal Law (MIA) Act

Community and Sector Development – what we do • Promote and guide the implementation of ‘Count Me In’ • Plan, promote and influence the further development of the disability services sector • Shape and implement new requirements emerging from EAC Community Sector Partnership Forum • Promote access and inclusion via compliance (DAIPs) and community education • Undertake a range of short to medium term priority developmental projects

Major focus areas • Build on Count Me In • Leverage the Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIP) through LGA/Govt to continue to promote inclusive objectives • Employment as a DAIP requirement • Sector planning and Development • Promote and facilitate contemporary service design • Facilitate pathways for involvement in decision making across stakeholders

  6. Local Area Coordination – what we do • Statewide Local Area Coordination program • People with Complex Needs, Justice Coordinator • Community and Family Living

  7. Major focus areas • Consolidate new LAC directorate • LAC project - role and ratios • Planning, early intervention • Community and Family Living • New Areas – Wheatbelt, New north • Partnerships – DSOs, Govt Depts, Local Govt
