Who are RISE? • RISE Research Institutes of Sweden is a group of research and technology organizations (RTOs) which in global co-operation with academia, enterprise and society creates value, growth and competitiveness through research excellence and innovation. • The RISE Group's innovations drive growth and support the transition to sustainable development in the whole society. • RISE consists of four corporate groups which are wholly or partly owned by the Swedish state: SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden, Swedish ICT, Swerea and Innventia. • RISE Holding is the Swedish state’s holding company for ownership of the RTOs of RISE. RISE Holding’s task is to gather, develop and renew the RTOs of RISE into an internationally competitive and efficient Swedish force for industrial research and innovation. • Follow us on the journey towards a world class Swedish RTO sector! • www.ri.se

  2. RISE RTOs offer • Contract research for industry. More than half of RISE RTO revenue comes from the business sector. • High participation in national Strategic Innovation Agendas and in EU Framework Programmes • Test beds and demonstration facilities available for industry and academy • Support for small and medium enterprise, SME. The RISE RTOs assists SMEs in solving technical problems, coaching innovation processes and their participation in EU research programmes. • Cooperation with universities – education, exam papers, graduate and PhD studies.
