  3. Interesting Facts • Painted 3 portraits of king Phillip IV at 25, known as “King’s Painter.” • He was a Spanish Painter. • He taught Diego Melgar as a student for 6 years! • When he died he recognized as a “Great Artist” • Diego’s most famous painting was “ Las Meninas”
