  3. Hermann Goring • Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe • Successor to Hitler in Nazi Party • Responsible for Nuremberg Laws and fine on Jews after Kristallnacht

  4. Reinhard Heydrich • Aka “The Hangman” • Chief of the Reich Main Security Office • Chaired the Wannsee Conference • Where “Final Solution” was devised • Deportation and Extermination of all Jews and unwanted groups.

  5. Adolf Eichmann • Lieutenant Colonel in Wehrmacht • Major organizer of the Holocaust • Had the task of managing and facilitating the mass logistics of moving all prisoners and victims of the Holocaust

  6. Paul Joseph Goebbels • Reich Minister of Propaganda • Close Associate and Devoted follower of Hitler • Known for oratory skills and zealous Anti-Semitism • Had a hand in influencing Kristallnacht • Urged Germans to accept idea of total war toward Allies

  7. Dr. Josef Mengele • “Angel of Death” • Physician in Concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau • Initially known for being a Dr. who separated arriving prisoners to either be killed or forced labor

  8. Mengele continued… • Experiments • Intrigued by physical abnormalities that he saw in arriving prisoners • Experiments included removing organs, using chemicals to change eye color, amputating limbs • Interested in Heredity • Specifically identical twins
