  3. How are systems defined? A system in the human body is defined by its function. Nervous, Respiratory, Excretory, Skeletal, Digestive, Circulatory, Muscular, Integumentary

  4. Nervous System What are the major parts of the nervous system? Brain Nerves Spinal Cord

  5. Respiratory System Major Parts include: Trachea Lungs Helps to intake oxygen and convert it into Carbon Dioxide

  6. Excretory System Major Parts Include Kidneys Bladder Ureters This system is used to regulate chemical in body fluids.

  7. DigestiveSystem Major Parts Include: Esophagus Liver Stomach Large Intestine (Colon) Small Intestine Rectum Break down of food and waste elimination

  8. Circulatory System Major Part: Heart Veins Arteries Move blood throughout the body

  9. Skeletal System Major Parts: Skull Rib Cage Spine Major function is to support and protect the body and vital organs
