  5. Mount Damavand, Mount Damavand, Iran's highest point, is located inMazanderan, south Babol Uremia Lake has been designated as an international park by the United Nations. The lake occupies a 5700 km2 depression in northwestern Iran. Kataleh Khor Cave, one of the most beautiful in the world, is located 165 km southwest of Zanjan.
