  1. Oakley site visit notes JJ Hollars email to R Bowers 11-29-11 I just returned from the Oakley farm and I took a couple of pictures to document the high flow conditions.  I went earlier today ~8:00, but didn’t take pictures at that time.  The water levels have receded a bit, but as you can see in the pictures water is still blowing out of the sinkhole in Deck Cove, as is the wet weather conveyance from behind Willy’s farm house.  Also the water is at least 3 feet below the I-beams on the bridge over highway 84, but I understand that flow at one point yesterday was up on the steel bridge structure.  It has been reported that we have had approximately 4 inches of rain beginning late Saturday evening and it has continued through today although the rain stopped at some point last night and it didn’t start back again 9:30 or so today.  It is not raining hard currently and it is even trying to snow, but the outside temperature is approximately 38 degrees.
