  10. Projects Executed By Omcad Systems

  11. Digitization of Atlas Gov of Karnataka

  12. Scanning: Scanning of the Atlas (hard copies) shall be done 1:1 by using high speed scanners with an output of 20nos A4 PPM & 15nos A3 PPM and shall be stored in “Jpeg” or “Tiff” format of required resolution/dpi.

  13. Digitization: • Digitization is the process of converting Raster files into vector format files. • Raster Data: Raster data represents features in as a matrix of cells in Continuous space(Ex: Scanned images, Photograph, Satellite Images etc) • Vector Data: Vector data is made up of points, lines, Polygons etc, it forms the locations and shapes of map features such as plot boundary, buildings, streets etc.. • Software’s: • The Software’s that can be used for Digitization are: • Autodesk Products (AutoCad, AutoCad Map, CadOverlay..) • Bently Products (Microstation)

  14. Sample Scanned Atlas of DSSLR:

  15. Image Inserted in CAD Software:

  16. Vector File Created Using CAD Tool:

  17. Error Checking (1-2) : Dangle Errors Parcel Line Not Intersected With Boundary (Under Shoot) Parcel Line Extruded the Boundary (Over Shoot)

  18. Error Checking (2-2) : Topology If the Boundary is closed & no extra entity on the objects Points will be created at the centroid

  19. Quality Assurances : The project quality assurance procedure ensures the highest accuracy to the deliverables. • PQC(Paper Quality Control) • After Vectorisation, the completed drawings shall be taken 1:1 prints on paper and shall • be manually checked 1:1 by comparing with the original by the allotted Q.C Team for • text editing, entities missing and Other features. • SQC (System Quality Control) • Corrections shall be updated in computer. The automated & monitor QA shall check for • line joining, parcels, polygon closing, layer standards, text editing etc.QA Team shall • run Subroutines and programs to ensure that required layer details, dangles and project • standards are met. • Submission • After first level of checking from our end, once again the check plots shall be taken on • tracing paper and the same shall be submitted to the department for quality check and • approval. After getting the corrected check prints from the DSSLR corrections if any, the • updating shall be carried out in our system and DWG file will be converted to SHP file using the GIS • tool and the final file will be delivered.
