  17. 1 Samuel 17:34-36 – when a lion comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I club it to death. I will do the same to Goliath

  18. John 10:11 (NLT) 11  “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.

  19. 1 Peter 2:25 (NLT) 25  Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

  20. Disarming Victory – Colossians 2:13-15

  21. Jesus canceled the record of charges against us • Nailing it to the cross

  22. Disarmed spiritual authorities • Shamed them publicly by his victory on the cross

  23. Ephesians 2:4-6 (NLT) 4  But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5  that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6  For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:20-21 (NLT) 20  Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood— 21  may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
