Farmers to hold massive protest at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on Nov 30-AIKSCC Lakhs of farmers would converge in Delhi on November 29 and join a protest rally on November 30 from the Ramlila Maidan to Parliament House, AIKSCC leaders The All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) on Thursday said that farmers from across the country would hold a massive protest in the national capital on November 30 against the policies of the central government.Lakhs of farmers would converge in Delhi on November 29 and join a protest rally on November 30 from the Ramlila Maidan to Parliament House, AIKSCC leaders said here.AIKSCC is an umbrella organisation representing over 180 farm outfits, which had held a similar protest in November last year.

Swabhimani Shetkari Saghatana and Lok Sabha Member Raju Shetti said a large number of farmers from Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu would join in the mega rally, besides those from the states adjoining Delhi.In August this year, he had introduced two Private Member's Bills in Lok Sabha seeking a loan waiver for farmers across the country and guaranteed remunerative prices for agricultural commodities. Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav said farmers were in distress due to poor price realisation for kharif crops, for which the government had announced a higher Minimum Support Price (MSP) this year and the probable losses to them would be around Rs 11.49 billion for the period of first three weeks of October.All India Kisan Sabha's Hannan Mollah, and Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan's V.M.
