Project Overview • Spokeo.com has around 250m profiles from US of people who are more than 18 years of age. • The project is to lookup for profiles of eminent people (who are a part of the 250m group) and form a timeline of events in their life. • Corresponding to each event there would be some pictures that would be populated as well. • The source for picking up this information would be Wikipedia datasets. • This would be designed using Ruby on Rails with MySQL as the database.

Project Overview • Concept of semantics and ontologies would form the backbone of the project. • The datasets are available as an xml and would be parsed for the relevant information. • The arrangement of timeline from the data parsed would be one of the most difficult and challenging aspects of the overall execution.
