  1. 33 Riches of Divine Grace Within the Much More Care of God • What is an object? • According to Merriam-Webster’s 1st definition • something material that may be perceived by the senses • something that when viewed stirs a particular emotion • The focus today is ‘us’ (the body of Christ collectively and individually) as objects of God’s ‘Much More Care’ • Rom 5:8-10 “But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” 1 June 29, 2008 Bob Eckel

  2. 33 Riches of Divine Grace Within the Much More Care of God • Objects of His Love • John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, …” • Rom 5:8 “But God commended His love towards us ..” • Eph 2:4 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, …” • What is the basis of God’s love? • Is it because of our intrinsic value? • Is it because we’ve tried hard and He therefore was willing to be merciful?   3. 33 Riches of Divine Grace Within the Much More Care of God • Eph 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:” • Security – ‘no worries’ • Rom 5:2 “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” • Rom 5:17 “For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” • Service – definition? • John 17:18 “As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.” 3 June 29, 2008 Bob Eckel

How much more, things that pertain to this life? • Objects of His Power • Eph 1:19 “And what [is] the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, …” • Phil 2:13 “For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of [His] good pleasure.” 4 June 29, 2008 Bob Eckel
