  3. Artemis Apollo • Goddess of the hunt, wilderness, wild animals, night, and the moon • Apollo is twin • Virgin goddess • The god of sun, music, archery, poetry, healing, and prophecy • Artemis’s twin • Drives sun chariot

  4. Poseidon Hades • God of sea, storms, and horses • Weapon of choice is the trident • His sons are the heavenly twins • God of the underworld • Brother of Zeus and Poseidon • Husband of Persephone

  5. Hermes Demeter • God of flight, thieves, commerce, and travel • Messenger of the gods • Zeus’s son • Goddess of fertility, grain, and harvest • Sister of Zeus • Mother of Persephone

  6. Aphrodite Hephaestus • Goddess of beauty and love • Married to Hephaestus • Ares is her real man • Eros is her son (Cupid) • God of fire and forge • Ugly son of Hera and Zeus • Married to Aphrodite
