Are you trying to get a Business License in UAE??? • Planning to get an e-commerce license in Dubai? • Trade licenses are permits/Authorization issued by government agencies to start a business. • Allows individuals or companies to conduct business within the government's geographical jurisdiction.

  3. Choose your Jurisdiction • For mainland - E-commerce license in Dubai will be issued by the Department of Economic Development (DED) • For free zone - License will be issued by the free zone authority. • Be wise with your choice!

  4. 2. Trade Name Registration • For getting a trade license UAE, Reserve your trade name • Obtain an initial approval certificate from the DED • Trade name should be unique • Should not be identical to any existing business names.

  6. 4. Getting the NOC • Acquire the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority. • The validity of NOC is up to 6 months and cannot be renewed. • NOC can be applied in parallel to the trade name approval application.

Required Documents According to the Dubai authorities, produce the following documents to acquire trade license for online business in dubai • Copies of the Passport/ Visa of shareholders • Copy of sponsors Emirates ID • The Civil works agreement • No Objection Certificate from the concerned authority • Memorandum Of Association Draft

Types of Licenses • Commercial License: • The import, export, distribution and storing of items specified on the license. • A Commercial License can have three different product lines or 10 similar product lines. • General Trading License: • Enables the licensee to trade in a wider range of activities. • Gives the freedom and flexibility to trade in any commodity which is permitted within the UAE.

Types of Licenses (Contd…) • Service License: • This license is for service providers. • It permits the licensee to carry out the services specified on the license within the Free Zone, such as Logistics, Courier Services, Insurance Service, Travel Agency, Car Rental etc. The Final Approval Once the above requirements are complete, you will receive the license and the business can be launched.
